Adventist Health, Branded Content

A patient’s fight for survival inspired a hospital to market themselves differently.

THE MISSION

Build intimacy with the people that need Adventist Health Simi Valley the most — neighbors, friends, and community.

THE RESULT

We started the “farm-to-table” movement for healthcare, inspiring thousands of community members to “shop local” and discover:

  • World-class cancer care in their own town.

  • The best cardiac team in the region, without L.A. traffic.

  • Staff that do more than save lives...they care for the whole person.

Together Inspired

The Adventist Health hospital system was in the middle of a rebrand and we created local content to support the effort. “Together Inspired” was the new tagline.

The Voice of the People

We produced two local stories: The first film, “Life After,” was about 40-year-old heart attack patient, and the other about two 30-something mothers with breast cancer. The films brought emotion and recognizable faces to the new slogan, "Together Inspired."

Not Alone

Breast cancer is never a happy prognosis, but it’s twice as painful when you’re a young mother with a 2-year-old child. As part of the hospital’s cancer awareness campaign, we produced a 15-minute documentary about two women's fight against breast cancer.

The Ripple Effect

The hospital had a theatrical screening for the community. They won national awards, and even the mayor of the city was proud be a part of the festivities.
