Crafting the Story
SORRY FOR YOUR INTERNET is a comedy dialog ad for Twin Lakes Fiber, a 10-gig rural internet provider. Leif Ramsey directed the commercial for Pathfinder Films.
The daughter turns the knob. There’s a somber man there. “My condolences on your loss.”
It’s not often that you get to play in the dark comedy genre with a commercial. Imagine a vigil of people showing up on a neighbors doorstep delivering one casserole after another. We leaned on Edgar Wright to inspire the pacing and energy of the ad.
